Pirates sharp in regular-season finale

Phoenix finished second in both the boys' and girls' divisions in its final meet of the regular season on Saturday.
Host North Bend won both sides of the meet. PHS totaled 74 boys' points for second while the Pirate girls came up with 50 points for its runner-up finish.
Top three finishers from Phoenix included Heidi Taylor in the 200 IM, Alec Shepherd 50 and 100 freestyles and Sophia Stubblefield in the 100 backstroke.
Phoenix will return to action at the district swimming event on February 8 and 9 in North Bend.
