Singles, doubles wins for tennis in KFalls

A mixture of veterans and newcomers are making for an enjoyable season for the Phoenix girls' tennis team.
The group continues to grow as new players keep joining coach Guy Tauer's team. The Pirates are set to host Hidden Valley in a dual meet at Bear Creek Park on Friday after a successful trip to Klamath Falls on Wednesday.
In a three-team event at Henley High School that also included Klamath Union, the Pirates picked up wins in singles where Ally Ellis notched a victory and in doubles where Courtney House and Gowri Vallanki combined for a victory.
Coach Tauer was pleased with his entire crew, incuding several who games in their respective matches.
