Sophia Stubblefield and Noah Marshall brought home victories from the Lithia Track and Field Invitational at Mazama High School on Saturday.
Stubblefield won the 3000-meter run in a personal best 11 minutes, 27.87 seconds. Meanwhile, Marshall set the pace in the 1500, also turning in a personal best (4:18.76) on his way to victory.
Other top Phoenix efforts included Justin Vermillion fifth in the javelin (PR of 136-0), Cristal Tellez seventh in the javelin (97-4) and the discus (96-6) and Roman Stubbs seventh in the high jump (5-6).
The Pirates return to action Wednesday at the Skyline junior varsity meet in Klamath Falls before heading to the Wally Ciochetti Invitational at Cottage Grove on Friday.
