The Phoenix girls' swimming team took advantage of a sunny, clear and warmer-than-usual day to finish fourth at the annual Henley Freeze in Klamath Falls on Saturday.
The Pirates amassed 120 points in the team standings. Ruby Moser posted sixth-place finishes in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Pearl Ward added a sixth in the 50 free while Kaie Eikenberry finihsed seventh in the 100 back and Kelly MacLeod seventh in the 100 breaststroke for the Pirates.
Bailey Olson's seventh-place finish in the 100 back paced the PHS boys, who were seventh as a team with 58 points.
The Pirates return to action Saturday at North Bend.
