Pirates prep for Skyline with solid run

The latest trip north was another success for the Phoenix cross country teams.
The Pirates put together a solid effort at Saturday's Northwest Classic in Eugene, including a fourth-place finish by the girls' team. Sophia Stubblefield finished fourth (20:01.6), just ahead of teammate Kyla Potratz (20;15) who was fifth. Ava Robinson added a 39th-place finish for Phoenix.
Meanwhile, the boys were paced by Elwood Hosking's third-place overall finish (16:36.8). Cael Feeley was clocked in 18:45, good for 43rd place.
Phoenix returns to action on Wednesday when it will take part in the Skyline Pre-District Meet in Klamath Falls.
