On Thursday, Feb. 27 Phoenix High School will host an informational night for PHS parents to help learn about how to navigate the college athletic experience for their students. A college athletic director, college coaches, counselors and others will help explain the process. This special event will begin at 6 pm in the high school commons and include dinner.

Among those scheduled to take part in the event include:

Craig Jackson, Director of Athletics, Umpqua Community College, Roseburg

Mike Ritchey, Head Wrestling Coach, Southern Oregon University

Cesar Flores, Counselor & NCAA Clearinghouse Coordinator, Phoenix High School

Plus PHS coaches with collegiate playing and/or coaching experience

This group looks forward to providing information and answering your questions about what you might expect when your son or daughter transitions to the collegiate level as a student-athlete.
