Five Phoenix High School student-athletes earned first-team honors on the recently selected Skyline Conference softball and baseball all-star teams.
Senior outfielder Josie Bolstad along with infielders Raelyssa Goff (junior) and Jayden Vos (freshman) made the first team after helping the Pirates to a third-place finish and overall record of 8-7 in the Skyline. Senior Kassandra Skaff was a second-team outfielder. Vos and Goff earned honorable mention at pitcher while Bolstad was an honorable mention utility player and freshman Addie Bright honorable mention as an infielder.
Bolstad earned second-team all-state honors as an outfielder whle Goff received all-state honorable mention.
Pirate baseball landed infielder Eli Page and utility player Brandon Zanni on the first team. Both are seniors. The Pirates finished 7-8 in the Skyline, good for fourth in one of the state's strongest baseball conferences.
Senior infielder Justin Wilcox and sophomore pitcher Julius Bolstad were second-teamers while Ian Wood (senior, first base), Trystan Norris (senior, outfield) and Jordan Jones (senior, outfield) were honorable mention selections.
