The communities of Phoenix and Talent are primed for their Pirates to play for the State Boys' Soccer Championship on Saturday, November 12 in Hillsboro.
Phoenix will square off with Ontario at Liberty High School beginning at 3:30 pm. The Pirates are 10-6-1 on the season while the Tigers are 13-1.
Fans connected to the Phoenix-Talent School District from around the state are planning to converge on HIllsboro for the finals. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students. Fans may pre-purchase tickets at https://www.osaa.org/shop/tickets
A student rooter bus will depart PHS at 9:30 am on Saturday. Students must bring a signed parent permission form to ride the bus.
For those who aren't able to make the game, a free Watch Party will be held in the high school commons. Doors will open at 3 pm.

A parade and rally to welcome the team home will be held on Sunday, November 13 beginning at 4 pm at Phoenix Elementary School. The event will also honor Kyla Potratz, who won the state cross country championship on November 5.
