Phoenix will serve as the host school for the 2023 Special District 3 Wrestling Tournament.

Action gets underway at 10 am on Saturday, Feb. 18 in the seven-team event. The top four finishers in each weight class will advance to the OSAA State Tournament in Portland on Feb. 23-24.

The Pirates will be joined by Skyline Conference members Henley, Hidden Valley, Klamath Union and Mazama plus Marshfield and North Bend from the Sky-Em League.

Phoenix wrestlers participating include Tanner Schuh, Erik Reyes-Madina, Caden Cunningham, Aidric Baynard, Owen Mathewson, Emery Tiesi and Jose Espinosa. 

Admission for the event is $10 for adults and $5 for students.
