The path to the OSAA State Track & Field Meet runs through Klamath Falls.

Teams of the Skyline Conference will converge on venerable Mazama High School on May 19-20 for the annual event, which top finishers will earn an opportunity to advance to the State Meet at Hayward Field in Eugene on May 26 and 27.

Friday's field events get underway at 2:30 pm while events on the track will start at 3:15. Saturday, start times are 11 am and 1 pm.

Top-seeded athletes from Phoenix include Kyla Potratz in the girls' 3000, Kael Feeley in the boys' 3000, Potratz in the girls' 1500 and  Elijah Palmer in the javelin.
