The return of heavy smoke to the Rogue Valley led to the cancelation of Friday's annual Phoenix Soccer Jamboree. Air levels were well over the limit of 150 to play a high school event in Oregon.

A total of 27 teams were slated to compete at Lithia and Driveway Fields in Medford at the event. There is no make-up date.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Football Jamboree has been moved to Modoc Field in  Klamath Falls where there is better air quality. Action will start at 5 pm and include the Pirates plus St. Mary's and host Klamath Union.
