Ken Hawkins
A 1965 Phoenix High School graduate, Ken excelled in football, basketball and track at PHS. He was a first-team all-state running back after rushing for 1,025 yards and scoring 108 points as a senior. He was first-team all-conference in basketball and a conference champion in the 180 low hurdles and 880 relay in 1964 and 1965, setting school records in both events. He went on to be a football and track/field standout at Pacific University where he earned defensive player of the year honors in football and set a school record in the 330 hurdles.
