Mike Consbruck

A 1962 graduate of PHS, Mike was a four-year letterman in football, basketball and track/field. He was a first-team Rogue League football all-star running back from 1959-1961 and selected outstanding running back for the East team in the 1962 Shrine Bowl. He was a mainstay on the 1961 Phoenix State Football Championship Team. He was an all-state honorable mention choice in basketball in 1960. In track he set school records in the long jump, javelin and as a member of the 880 relay team. He finished fifth at state in the javelin. Mike went on to be a football and track standout at Linfield College and was a member of three conference football championship teams and the 1965 NAIA football national runner-up team.
