PHS 2008 Athlete/Alumni
Jordan Lewis was one of the youngest starting freshman to pitch for the PHS Varsity at 15 years old. He pitched three different teams to World Series appearances, including Babe Ruth, American Legion, and NJCAA College.
At PHS Skyline Conference MVP, First team All-State
and 2008 Skyline Pitcher of the Year.
He holds most of the career pitching records not
only at Phoenix High, but with the
AAA American Legion Medford Mustangs.
He ended his baseball career at Phoenix with a
sparkling record of 56-9 record.
One of just six Oregon High School players
to participate in the 2008 MLB Rookie Draft.
Jordan received a full scholarship to play two years at
Western Nevada Junior College
where he became the winningest single season record holder
going 12-0, and was named Pacific Northwest Regional Co-MVP.
He finished his final 2 years as a starting pitcher
with the University of Houston where he was named
Conference USA pitcher of the week
and led the team in strikeouts.
