Phoenix senior Kassandra Skaff had a first-inning single in Game 2 but that was the lone hit allowed in 10 innings by Henley pitcher Carli Moore as the Hornets down the Pirates 12-0 and 15-0 in a Skyline Conference softball doubleheader on Wednesday in Klamath Falls.
Moore authored a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts, one walk and one hit batter in the five-inning opener for Henley (12-0). In the nightcap, the senior gave up one hit with one walk and nine strikeouts and also had a three-run home run to spur an 11-run fourth inning.
Phoenix dropped to 6-5 overall.
