Sienna Bauer and Joseph Grace brought home medals from the OSAA State Track and Field Meet in Eugene.
Bauer led early in the finals of the 100-meter hurdles before hitting a hurdle and eventually finishing fourth in 15.93 seconds. Meanwhile, Grace led the javelin competition at the midway point before settling for sixth with a best of 161.5 feet. Both return next season as Bauer is sophomore and Grace a junior.
Bauer and Grace were two of seven PHS athletes to compete in the two-day meet, which was held at Hayward Field. Robby Vos finished ninth in the 3000 (9:19.6) and 11th in the 1500 (4:22.89). Cori Romig (100) posted a time of 11.79, Joe Navas (400) 54.50, Lupita Alegria (2:27.18) and Anna Nash (long jump) 14-6 1/4 in the preliminaries and did not make the finals.
