A difficult second quarter made life difficult for the Phoenix football team on Friday night.
The Pirates yielded four touchdowns to visiting North Valley in the second quarter of a 42-0 loss to the Knights in a Skyline Conference game at Jack Woodward Stadium.
Mateo Lopez paced the Pirates on the ground, gaining 74 yards on 15 carries while Jack Hawkins caught six passes for 17 yards.
The Pirates finished 0-8 overall and 0-4 in the Skyline.
