A first-half goal stood up for visiting North Valley on Thursday afternoon at Colver Field.
The Knights held on to defeat host Phoenix, scoring a 1-0 victory in Skyline Conference play. The loss dropped PHS to 1-1-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Phoenix outshot North Valley 18-9 but was unable to find the goal. An apparent goal in the 75th minute was wiped out by an offsides call.
PHS returns to action Monday, hosting Henley.
