At this point in time, there appears to be no stopping the Phoenix boys' soccer team.
The Pirates continues their cruise through the Skyline Conference, blanking visiting Henley 4-0 in a Skyline Conference match at Colver Field on Thursday afternoon.
The Pirates took 29 shots on goal compared to only three for Henley. Victor Martinez and Bryson Flenner scored first-half goals off of assists by Randy Rodriguez. Ty Clayton and Yahir Valdovinos found the net in the second half thanks for Gustavo Pinon assists.
Moises Rivera recorded a clean sheet in the goal while Joe Navas, Johnny Esquivel, Dan Martinez and Cornelio Carrera-Flores kept the Hornets at bay on the defensive end of the field.
Phoenix (8-0-1 in conference and 11-0-1 overall) can wrap up sole possession of the Skyline title with a win at Mazama on Monday.
