The Phoenix boys' soccer team is in sole possession of the Skyline Conference lead after a stellar 2-0 win over North Valley on Thursday at Colver Field.
The Pirates got goals and assists from Victor Martinez and Ty Clayton. Meanwhile, Tucker Speaks posted a shutout in goal. Phoenix is 2-0-1 in the Skyline and 4-1-2 overall.
The Pirates return to action Monday, hosting Henley.
