Host Mazama wasted little time flexing its muscle, rolling up a 29-8 lead after one quarter on the way to a 70-20 win over the Pirates on Friday night.
Delani Parent scored nine points while Bella Lopez added five for PHS (3-14 overall, 0-4 in conference play). The Pirates return to action Friday, visiting Klamath Union.
