Turnovers led a tough night on the offensive end of the Phoenix girls on Tuesday.
The Pirates committed 29 turnovers in a Skyline Conference game at home against Henley, dropping a 39-26 decision in the process. PHS scored 14 points in the first three quarters of the game.
Phoenix (0-2 in the Skyline, 6-10 overall) got nine points from both Maggie Carrillo and Josie Bolstad in the game. The Pirates return to action Friday, visiting Mazama.
