The final trip to Klamath Falls of the basketball season did not produce the desire result for the Phoenix girls' basketball team.
The Pirates came out flat and never recovered in a 58-31 loss at Henley on Friday night. PHS trailed 16-6 after a quarter. Maggie Carrillo scored seven points and Julie Villasenor six for PHS, which allowed 16 offensive rebounds in the game.
Phoenix (6-15 overall, 0-7 in the Skyline Conference) returns to action Tuesday, hosting Mazama.
