Finishing games has been an issue for the Phoenix girls' basketball team this season.
Friday night, that was not the case as the Pirates played perhaps their most complete game of the season to defeat North Valley 52-38 in a Skyline Conference game at Phoenix.
PHS (1-2 in the Skyline, 7-9 overall) got a career-high 26 points from Annabell Delgado to key the win. The sophomore guard, hit four three-point baskets in the game, including a pair early in the third quarter when Phoenix took control of the contest. Delgado added five rebounds and three steals in the win.
Morgan James totalled 13 points and 10 rebounds, Kynna Nolan nine points and Kyla Potratz 10 rebounds for Phoenix, which hosts Hidden Valley on Tuesday night.
