A rough night of shooting led to a rough night for the Phoenix girls’ basketball team in a 54-28 loss at Klamath Union on Friday.
The Pirates hit seven of 33 field goals attempts in a 54-28 Skyline Conference loss at Klamath Union. The loss dropped Phoenix to 12-9 overall and 3-3 in the Skyline.
Despite the setback, PHS can wrap up third place in the conference on Tuesday when it hosts Hidden Valley.
Mae Woodward scored 11 points and Anabell Delgado added 10 for Phoenix in the loss.
