Seniors Maggie Carrillo, Lupita Alegria, Edith Vargas, Liz Parra and Julissa Villasenor played their final match for the Pirates on Saturday.
The soccer season ended for the Phoenix girls on Saturday as the Pirates dropped a 4-0 decision to North Marion in a 4A play-in game in Aurora.
Phoenix gave up two goals in each half. The Pirates had several scoring opportunities in the second half but were unable to cash in.
PHS finished the season 4-8-2 and ranked 17th in the state.
