The Phoenix girls' soccer team found that out on Thursday night, dropping a 3-2 decision to Klamath Union.
The Pirates trailed 2-0 before picking up goals from Makenzie Christensen in the 55th minute. After another KU goal, Alex Hernandez scored but PHS was unable to get an equalizer.
Phoenix is 2-1-1 overall and 0-1 in league play. The Pirates host Hidden Valley on Monday beginning at 4:30 pm at Colver Field.
