The Phoenix volleyball team dug deep on Tuesday night.
After falling 25-23 in the first set of the night, the Pirates took three straight from host Mazama to earn their first Skyline win of the 2019 season. Phoenix responded with wins of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-21.
The Pirate JV and JV2 teams also won in four sets on Tuesday.
Phoenix is 1-1 in the Skyline and travels to Klamath Union on Thursday.
