The Phoenix volleyball team is getting good at dealing with adversity.
On the road to Klamath Falls for the second time in three nights, the Pirates bounced back from an opening 25-22 loss to down host Klamath Union 25-20, 25-18, 25-20 in the final three sets in Skyline Conference play on Thursday night.
Six blocks and nine kills by Delani Parent along with 10 kills and eight digs by Josie Bolstad set the pace for Phoenix, which got 11 digs and five ils from Rae Goff, six aces and four kills from Jourden Devey, eight kills from Kaihla Granger and 13 assists from Anna Ellis.
The Pirates improved to 2-1 in conference play and return to action Tuesday, hosting Hidden Valley.
