Stubblefield, Potratz set Rogue XC pace

Sophia Stubblefield finished second and Kyla Potratz third to lead the Phoenx girls at the annual Rogue XC event on September 20 at Colver Field in Talent.
Stubblefield finished in 19 minutes. 58.38 seconds while Potratz posted a time of 20:04.61. Heidi Taylor added a 17th-place finish (22:35.69) for PHS. The Pirate girls tied with South Medford for second in the team standings.
The Phoenix boys were sixth with 183 points. Noah Marshall's time of 17:37.11 (21st place) paced the Pirates, who return to action on Saturday at the Nike Invitational in Portland and the State of Jefferson Run in Ashland.
