Strong runs for Pirate girls

Sophia Stubblefield and Kyla Potratz continue to impress during the cross country season.
Stubblefield was second among all sophomores while Potratz was second among freshman in the Division 1 Varsity race at the Nike Portland XC event in Portland on September 28.
Stubblefield was 12th in 19 minutes, 21.60 seconds while Potratz was 27th in 20:01.
Noah Marshall led the boys, finishing 46th in the Division 2 varsity event in 17:27. Elwood Hosking was 164th in 18:32 and Dilan Mathieu 205th in 18:57.
The Pirates return to action Saturday when they head to Albany.
