PHS 5th at Rogue Valley Championships

The Phoenix wrestling team turned the page on 2017 with a solid effort at the Rogue Valley Championships on Saturday.
As a team, the Pirates finished fifth with 113 points. Invidually, Dane Johnson finished second at 182 pounds to lead PHS. Other top finishes included thirds from Joey Wilson and Elijah Santana, fourths from Dalton Samis and Ezra DeLuca and sixth from Elijah Galatitoto.
Phoenix returns to action Wednesday when it will be part of a three-team meet at Ashland.
