Pirates tangle with St. Mary's in track

A long list of Phoenix track and field athletes had excellent showings in a dual meet with St. Mary's on Friday, April 23.
The meet opened with throwing events at St. Mary's before transitioning to Phoenix for the remainder of the event. The meet was the first one held in the newly refurbished facility at PHS.
The Pirate girls won four field events to highlight their effort. Meanwhile, the PHS took five running events and four in the field. Here's a link to complete meet results:
Phoenix returns to action Tuesday, hosting Klamath Union in a Skyline Conference dual meet beginning at 4:30 pm.
