Four Phoenix wrestlers recorded pins in a Skyline Conference dual against Henley on June 2.
Bruce Doke (145 pounds), Patrick Calhoun (182) and John Bennett (220) won by pinfall in the 60-18 loss to the Hornets in the varsity match. Meanwhile, Isa Prinslow scored a pin over her Henley opponent in an exhibition.
The Pirates were also in action Saturday, taking part in a dual tournament at Eagle Point. Calhoun and Joey Baynard both scored a pair of wins while Bennett recorded another pin.
The team returns to the mat on Tuesday, taking part in a three-team event at North Valley that will also include Hidden Valley.
