Pirates dualing toward districts

A series of dual meets are helping to prepare the Phoenix wrestling team for its main event of the 2021-2022 season.
The Pirates took part in the Skyline Conference duals on Jan. 29 before hosting Ashland on Jan. 31. They followed with a trip to a multi-team event at Cascade Christian on Feb. 2.
At the annual Skyline event, Phoenix got multiple wins from Erik Reyes, Hunter Everhart and Marcelo Camargo.
Following Wednesday's meet at Cascade Christian, Phoenix will prepare for the 4A Special District Meet at Klamath Union on Feb. 12.
