The seniors on the Phoenix wrestling team went out in style on Wednesday night.
The Pirates dominated a pair of larger schools, rolling past Spring 63-18 before blanking Ashland 66-0 in a three-team event at Phoenix High School.
Seniors Elijah Leonis, Jacky Hawkins, Ezra DeLuca, Joey Wilson, Dane Johnson and Elijah Santana all picked up two wins on the night. Joey Baynard, Emma Treux and Ryan Brumble were also multi-match winners for the Pirates, who return to action this weekend at the Cottage Grove Invitational.
