JV dominates final 2 games

Behind a punishing rushing attack and a stout defense, the Phoenix football JV team won their last two games against Cottage Grove 50-6 and North Valley 38-21. The Pirates used the ground and pound attack in rushing for over 500 yards combined in the 2 games. The line was dominating and QB Trystan Norris directed the high powered attack with RB's Kyle Cook and Alexis Manzano. Luis Tapia added in some clutch receptions along with Joey Baynar. The defense dominated with key line play and several sacks by Trevor Sharrar. All in all, great end to the season for the Pirate JV as they won 3 of their final 4 games and scored 138 points in those 4 games.
