Some nights you're hot, others you're not. The Phoenix boys' basketball team saw both ends of the spectrum over the weekend in Elmira.
After a cold shooting night in a 60-55 loss to Lebanon on Friday, the Pirates heated up by hitting 14 three-point baskets in a 73-49 win over Harrisburg on Saturday afternoon in Elmira.
PHS improved to 7-2 on the season with the win. Brennan. Watts scored 22 points, Ethan Hutsell 21 and Neco Ortega 12 in the win.
Phoenix returns to action beginning Thursday in the Cascade Christian tournament.
